It's a service plan that helps cover the cost to repair or replace your essential appliances and systems when they break down from everyday use  no matter how old they are.Not only can it save you money, it also eliminates the hassle of finding qualified service providers because we've done the vetting for you.

We'll find a pre-screened service provider to diagnose and remedy the problem. If it can’t be repaired, it will be replaced.

We help pay the bill and your covered repair is guaranteed for 180 days. It's that simple.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does my coverage last?

Your Cinch coverage lasts for one year from the date of closing. Before your current plan expires, we'll contact you about how to continue to protect your home and budget for years to come.

How much does repair service cost?

At the time of the service request, you will pay a $50 deductible.

 

Helpful reminders:

  • The deductible is per service trade. So, if you have more than one item that needs repair and they are in different service trades — for example, a plumber and an electrician — there will be a deductible due for each one.
  • Certain items have coverage caps. If your repair or replacement cost exceeds the cap, you will be responsible for the difference.
  • There could also be additional charges if more work is needed to fix the issue. For instance, if a permit is needed or you need a new concrete slab for a replacement A/C unit, those costs are not covered by your plan.

How do you choose your service providers?

Every service provider in our network has undergone an extensive screening and selection process, which includes background and license checks plus verification of active liability insurance. We also continuously monitor and score them based on customer feedback.

What is NOT covered?

Other non-mechanical items in your home, like the roof, windows, walls and doors, are typically not included in protection plan coverage. Also, if a covered item was improperly installed or repaired, your plan will likely not cover it. It's important to read the details included in the General Exclusions and Limitations section of the terms and conditions.
